Daymark Recovery Services is a non-profit provider of behavioral health and substance use disorder services in more than 30 counties in North Carolina. We are seeking a psychiatrist, nurse practitioner with psychiatric certification or a physician assistant with at least two years of psychiatric experience. The position is at the Guilford Residential Center, which is a rehabilitation facility for adults with substance use disorders. Location is High Point, NC. Work would include psychiatric evaluations and medication management for patients’ substance use disorders (including buprenorphine) and other co-occurring psychiatric illness. Prefer on-site work by a provider with MAT experience but would consider telepsychiatry and limited experience in this field.
Work is done in a team environment. Position is 24 hours per week. This could be a contract position or it could be combined with outpatient psychiatric hours for a 30 to 40 hour per week position with benefits. Position may qualify for loan repayment through the NC Office of Rural Health.
